- Account Data: When you use the App, we collect your anonymous user ID (generated via Firebase Anonymous Authentication) and any display name, status, or bio you set.
- Purchase Data: If you make in-app purchases (Pro Lifetime for $9.99 one-time or Max Pro subscription for $4.99/month), Apple handles all payment processing. We receive only purchase confirmation and entitlement status via RevenueCat — we do not store credit card details.
- User-Generated Content: In Max AI Tutor (Max Pro feature) or mini chat, you may submit text messages, questions, or images (e.g., photos for AI analysis). These are sent to third-party AI services (Grok AI from xAI) for processing but are not stored by us unless required for app functionality.b. Non-Personal Information
- Usage Data: Automatically collected data such as device type, OS version, app interactions (e.g., features used, time spent), and crash reports to improve the App.
- Analytics: We use anonymized analytics (via Firebase and Apple Analytics) to understand usage patterns like session length and feature popularity. No personal identifiers are linked to this data. You can opt out of analytics through device settings (e.g., Limit Ad Tracking in iOS Settings) or by contacting us.c. Data from Third Parties
- AI Integration: Queries sent to Max AI Tutor are processed by xAI's servers. See xAI's privacy policy: https://x.ai/privacy
- Photos Access: If you choose to upload images in Max AI Tutor, we request permission to access your photo library. Images are base64-encoded and sent to the AI — they are processed temporarily and not stored on our servers or shared beyond the third-party AI provider.We do not collect sensitive data such as precise location, health information, or biometric data.2. How We Use Your Information- To Provide Services: Enable anonymous login, process purchases, deliver AI responses, maintain community features, and manage entitlements.
- To Improve the App: Analyze anonymized usage data for bug fixes, performance improvements, and new feature development.
- Communications: Respond to support inquiries if you contact us.
- Legal Compliance: Comply with legal obligations, such as responding to valid requests from authorities.We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Limited sharing occurs only with:
- Service providers (e.g., xAI for AI processing, Apple for payments, RevenueCat for subscription management).
- If the App is acquired or merged, data may transfer to the new owner under similar privacy protections.3. Data Security and RetentionWe use industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit, secure authentication) to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure — use the App at your own risk.Data is retained only as long as necessary:
- User-generated content (e.g., AI queries): Processed temporarily by third parties — not stored by us.
- Anonymous usage data: Kept anonymized for up to 2 years for analytics.
- Purchase/entitlement records: Maintained as required by Apple and RevenueCat for subscription management.You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (including profile, friends, messages, and any stored content) directly in the App via the Profile tab. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Local data is also deleted upon uninstallation. For further requests, contact us.4. Children's PrivacyThe App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it immediately. The App is intended for users 13 and older.5. - Opt-Out: Disable analytics through device settings or app preferences (where available).
